Nostalgia.

There’s a certain effect that some photos have on you; sometimes we find ourselves sucked back into a place, feeling, or memory. The times we stop for a second, soak it in, and really feel the nostalgia. This is what I have been chasing for the past ten years as I photographed my friends and family. Photography always had a way of grounding me back to reality. I often find myself not taking the time to value my experiences until I scroll back through my camera roll, taking a moment with each picture to live it again. Life starts to accelerate with busy schedules and limited time; photographs help slow it down. I hope to bring this same nostalgia to as many people as I can.
